One-time Photo Requests
Create single-use photo requests for specific tasks or customers.

Overview
One-time requests are designed for situations where you need photos for a specific, non-recurring task:
- Insurance claims documentation
- Delivery confirmations
- Property inspections
- Customer returns
- Project milestones
- Event documentation
Once photos are submitted, the request is marked as complete and cannot be reused.
Creating a One-time Request
Step 1: Request Type
- Navigate to Photo Requests in your dashboard
- Click New Request
- Select One-time as the request type
- Click Next to continue
Quick Creation
For frequent use cases, save time by creating a Template that pre-fills your common settings.
Step 2: Instructions
Configure what your customer will see:
| Field | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Title | Yes | Name for the request (e.g., "Delivery Photos - Order #1234") |
| Description | No | Detailed instructions for the photographer |
Best Practice
Write clear, specific instructions. For example: "Please photograph all four sides of the package, plus any visible damage."
Step 3: Options
Photo Limits
| Field | Description | Limits |
|---|---|---|
| Minimum Photos | Minimum required to submit | 1-50 |
| Maximum Photos | Maximum allowed per request | Based on your plan |
Your plan determines the maximum photos per request:
| Plan | Max Photos/Request |
|---|---|
| Free | 5 |
| Starter | 10 |
| Professional | 25 |
| Enterprise | 50 |
Deadline
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Deadline | Optional expiration date/time |
After the deadline, the link becomes inactive and customers cannot submit photos.
Recipient Notification
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Recipient Email | Email address to notify when photos are submitted |
This is useful when someone else (e.g., a team member or client) should receive the notification instead of you.
Access Code
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Simplified Code | 6-digit numeric code for easy access |
Customers can enter this code at visio.now/code instead of using the full link. Useful for phone support or printed materials.
