Browse all photos from a request or Permanent Link in a visual grid.

Overview

The Gallery provides a visual overview of all submitted photos:

• Grid layout for quick scanning
• Thumbnail previews
• Filter by tags
• Sort by date or slot
• Quick actions on photos

Accessing the Gallery

From Request Detail

1. Navigate to Photo Requests
2. Click on a request
3. Scroll to the photos section
4. View photos in grid layout

Permanent Links Gallery

For Permanent Links with multiple submissions:

1. Go to Permanent Link detail page
2. Scroll to the gallery section
3. All photos from all submissions displayed
4. Grouped by submission

Gallery Layout

Grid View

Photos display in a responsive grid:

• Desktop: 4-5 columns
• Tablet: 3 columns
• Mobile: 2 columns

Each thumbnail shows:

• Photo preview
• Tag badges (if any)
• GPS indicator (if location data)
• Notes indicator (if notes exist)

Submission Groups (Permanent Links)

For Permanent Links, photos are grouped:

• Separator between submissions
• Submission header with:
  • Unique identifier value
  • Submitter name (if collected)
  • Submission date
  • Photo count

Filtering

Filter by Tag

1. Click on the tag filter dropdown
2. Select a tag
3. Gallery shows only photos with that tag
4. Clear filter to show all

Filter by Date

For Permanent Links with many submissions:

• Use date range filter
• Show photos from specific period
• Useful for finding recent submissions

Sorting

Default Sort

Photos are sorted by:

1. Submission date (newest first)
2. Photo slot order within submission

Alternative Sorts

• Oldest first: Reverse chronological
• By slot: Group by photo instruction

Actions

Single Photo Actions

Hover or click on a photo to:

• View: Open in Photo View
• Download: Download original file
• Add tags: Quick tag assignment
• Delete: Remove photo (with confirmation)

Bulk Actions (Permanent Links)

Per-submission actions:

• View Photos: Open submission detail
• PDF Report: Generate report for submission
• Download ZIP: Download all photos
• Delete All: Remove entire submission

Pagination

Large Galleries

When you have many photos:

• Paginated view (configurable per page)
• Page navigation at bottom
• Jump to specific page
• Total photo count displayed

Infinite Scroll (optional)

For seamless browsing:

• Photos load as you scroll
• Smooth experience
• Memory-efficient

S3 Storage Indicator

If using custom S3 storage:

• Storage status shown
• Warning if connection issues
• Photos load from your storage
